Registration is open! The Diplôme d’études en Langue Française (DELF) is an internationally recognized test of French proficiency. It is based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), which defines language proficiency along six global levels: A1 through C2. At each level, proficiency is measured across four competencies: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The French Ministry of National Education awards successful candidates a diploma. This diploma is valid for life.
RCCDSB students enrolled in a Grade 12 FSL course are eligible to apply for DELF. The test is free of charge! It will be held from April 8-12 at Bishop Smith Catholic High School. Click here to register. Obtain a consent to participate form from your FSL teacher. Attach a post-dated cheque (dated April 30), in the amount of $50.00 and payable to the RCCDSB, to your consent form. Submit these two items to your FSL teacher by Friday, February 22. Your cheque will not be cashed unless you complete the DELF exam.
