Grade 9-12 course selections for the 2021-2022 school year were completed in March. Course selection forms were due on Friday, March 26, 2021. Guidance counselors, Mr. Gleason and Mrs. Hickson, visited students in their various classes to assist with the course selection process. As a parent/guardian, you can see the high school courses that your child has selected by visiting myBlueprint. Log in to myBlueprint using your child’s RCCDSB email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) and password. Select High School on the sidebar.
Changes can be made by parents directly on myBlueprint or by contacting the Guidance Department. Parent or guardian input in this process is very important!
An envelope containing information about grade 9 course recommendations and streams was sent home with grade eight students in April. An explanation of the course selection process was included. Parent input is very important in this transition year!

Extended French Option
We are also pleased to offer an Extended French program beginning in grade nine. Currently, seven French courses are offered in grades nine through twelve. Students in this program complete an additional French language course in grades 9-11. These courses include grade nine geography, grade ten history, and a grade eleven course. A designated school pathway exists to ensure that each student has a continuation of program from entry in grade nine through to graduation in grade twelve.
