COURSE SELECTIONS @ BSCHS
High school course selections have started at Bishop and will continue until the end of February. The Guidance teachers, Mr. Gleason and Ms.Hickson, are visiting students in their various classes to assist with this process. Parents can see the courses that your child has tentatively selected by visiting www.myblueprint.ca and logging in to the program using your child’s email (firstname.last name @rccdsb.ca) and their password. Select High School on the sidebar.
Changes can be made by parents on myblueprint or by contacting the Guidance Department. Parent input in this process is very important!
By March 27th, all high school students need to:
1. submit courses and
2. return a course selection form (signed by parents).
Grade 8 students will bring an envelope home on Thursday Feb.27th containing course recommendations and streams for next year. An explanation of the course selection process will be included in the envelope. Parent input is especially important in this transition year!
We are pleased to offer an array of curricular programming to satisfy the needs and interests of our grade eight through twelve student population. Our courses integrate modern, technology-infused teaching and learning practices.

Extended French Option
Bishop Smith Catholic High School is also pleased to offer an Extended French program beginning in grade nine. Seven French courses are offered in grades nine through twelve. Students in this program complete an additional French language course in grades 9-11. These courses include grade nine geography, grade ten history and a grade eleven course which has yet to be determined. A designated school pathway exists to ensure that students have a continuation of program from entry in grade 9 through to graduation in grade 12.
